How ProElectrical Works

Three steps. No typing. Just walk and talk.

1
Set Up Once — Enter your company, license, state, and preferences. Saved for next time.
2
Walk the Job — Hit record and walk the property. Talk about what you see — panels, outlets, switches, circuits, fixtures, EV charger location, rewiring needs. AI listens and watches.
3
Review & save — Fix scope and totals. PDF goes to your customer. Copy also saves under Saved estimates on this phone.

How do you bid jobs?

Commercial TI is usually unit price or T&M hourly — not a service call. Pick your default (change per job anytime).

AI and quick-add buttons use these. Use loaded labor rates (wage + burden), not base wage.

Small resi service only
Voice Calibration

Tap the mic and read the sentence below.

"Commercial TI — north wing: 36 ballast fixtures, two T8 lamps each, convert to direct-wire LED, remove old ballast wiring, hardwire drivers. South wing same count. Two electricians, two days, permit required."
Voice works best in a quiet environment. You can skip this and use it on-site.

Lighting takeoff (commercial)

Enter counts before the walk so AI has a baseline (e.g. 36 ballasts × 2 lamps, both wings).

Multiply from sample rows (film 1–2 rows)

Counted fixtures on one row, filmed a few rows, know total rows — app multiplies (e.g. 18 fixtures/row × 18 rows × 2 wings).

Use row math for ballast count (overwrites # ballasts above)

Say counts out loud: "18 fixtures per row, 18 rows, same on both wings — multiply." Video saves to your phone when you tap Done (download on next screen).

How ProElectrical works (for you & your customer)

You build the estimate on your phone. Your customer gets the professional PDF you print or email — that is their copy. Numbers and job details also stay on this phone/browser until you export or clear them.

  1. Setup once — company, license, how you bid (hourly vs unit price).
  2. New job — enter counts (ballasts, rows, wings) or walk the site with video + voice.
  3. Review — fix scope lines and totals.
  4. PDF — print or email to the customer (this is what they keep).
  5. Saved estimates — auto-saved on this device when you finish a review; open again anytime here.
